Snapchat servers rarely go down and current problems normally focus on stories not posting and some people’s messages going black, which can be felt on all platforms with Android and iOS being most used.If maintenance has been scheduled we will update the current status on this page, although reports are also left by others below that reveal when services are down in various regions. The most common problems involve sending photos, videos, and text messages.Recently, users have wondered why their stories won’t post on Snapchat, why friends are not receiving snaps, and also loading or skipping errors are reported most days.
In many cases these could be isolated issues. Is Snapchat down on Sunday September 1, 2019 and not working with your feed not refreshing? Share your problems and status updates below. ![Why Does Snapchat Say Im Screen Recording When Im Not Why Does Snapchat Say Im Screen Recording When Im Not](http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_LusTqUTrEmI/Sr_aD_hodPI/AAAAAAAAB5M/iopJuaRQXjI/s320/funny-dog-pictures-french-fries.jpg)
I have a samsung note 8, 1 of the best phones on the market and im with AT&T so it isnt my phone or service. Fix this asap Snapchat! Im a Pro Tattoo Artist of 10 years & Snapchat is very important to my business!. I’m constantly having to turn off or reset my phone in hopes that it will work. It started off with huge crashes for about 15 minutes yesterday and then it was fine. But today my bit mojis of my friends won’t always pop up, i cant access my memories or anything in that section, my snaps wont load in and if they do they say failed to send or in terms of receiving them they will just show a black screen when I open them, my story glitches a lot and i have to manually go into sc to check if someone sent me a msg because I wont get the notification.
My stories are failing to refresh or even load, my snaps are failing to send to my streaks as well as my story, the Lenses won’t load, my chats will not send, other people’s snap scores won’t load either, I keep getting the “Please check your connection and try again” message. I restarted Snapchat and my phone, and switched back and forth from WiFi to LTE, and Snapchat is still garbage. I just received the “No Internet connection.” message, which is very interesting because of the fact that I’ve got three bars of AT&T Wi-Fi right now. I’ve reseted my phone more than a multiple of times each and everyday I also have deleted Snapchat and have installed Snapchat a couple of times to fix the issues that I have but they still persist. I can log in and out of Snapchat but my friends stories won’t load nor my snap would load they’re all pending. I also try to use the Snapchat filter but they won’t load at all it just shows that they are loading but none of them are useable it tells me to check my connection but I know my connection is perfectly fine because it works for the rest of my apps but I’m just having issues with Snapchat. I’ve been wanting to keep in contact with some friends on Snapchat but I can’t because it crashes or doesn’t work at all each and everyday is the same issue.
For some reason it wont update when i send people anything even though theyre getting the message so i dont know if the person has received or opened the message unless they reply, its basically like it disappears on my end. For example i just sent my boyfriend a picture, but the last thing shown as sent was a message 13 hours ago, even though we had been sending each other pictures for hours after that message. Ive tried restarting my phone and reinstalling the app and its just making me really mad at this point.
Just to give my experience with Snapchat. So on my android phone I could no longer access memories without the app crashing. If I took a snap and saved it, that too would crash the app. Once I uninstalled Snapchat from my android phone, installed it from the Play Store, now it works perfectly fine. Although I did lose all of my memories, a lot of those I had saved to the computer before uninstalling. So if anyone else is having problems with Snapchat, if you have stuff that you want saved backed up, back it up, then uninstall Snapchat, reinstall it, and see if that works for you.
The only thing you’ll have to do is re-add contacts and let those contacts know to accept your invite request, otherwise your snaps to them will show up as pending. For months videos won’t add to my story, I can’t send videos to my friends, I can’t save anything to my memories (including videos and photos), when trying to record a video it’s extremely laggy, and I can’t see any of my past memories from last summer. I have been dealing with this issues for almost a full year! I try to use the app on two different android phones, constantly having to go back and forth because one used to be able to save snaps and post videos but now that one stopped working too (even after I updated it to the newest version). Snapchat has almost no customer support and i’m really getting tired of this. No other app has caused me this much stress.
This is an app from hell!. This has been an ongoing problem for me for over a month: I have a bunch of people add me. I add them back. Then I go back to add back some new people who added me, and all the people I previously added are back in the add list. Only difference is that the new adds are shaded purple, the old adds are not shaded (they’re just plain white). So I add the new ones, and re-add the old ones.
Everything looks good. I get some new friends who add me, and find the same situation again. Every batch of new adds pops back up on the add list.
One new feature in iOS 11 lets you easily record the screen of your iPhone as you navigate around the user interface, which can be useful when trying to help someone remotely troubleshoot an iOS problem or when making videos to share online. Since, many users on Twitter and other sites have begun to worry that people will be able to screen record their Snapchats and Instagram Direct messages without notifications warning them of such activities taking place. While it appears that such is the case for Instagram Direct, Snapchat will still let you know when someone is screen recording your privately messaged snaps. Thanks to a tipster who emailed us this morning, we decided to test out sending both still images and videos through the two previously mentioned apps, and discovered that Snapchat treats iOS 11's screen recording feature just as it does for taking a screenshot. After using screen recording, the sender (left) is shown in-app screenshot icons and the receiver (right) gets notifiedIf your iPhone is locked, you'll get a push notification saying someone 'took a screenshot!' Of either your photo or video, and if you're within the app then Snapchat will still display the and let you know that the receiver took a 'screenshot just now.' So, while Snapchat isn't able to directly tell you that it's a screen recording on iOS 11, you'll still know that your DMs are being saved. Stories, on the other hand, appear to be less abiding to the screen recording/screenshot notification system, at least for now.Instagram Direct doesn't yet appear to have such a feature for iOS 11 screen recording warnings.
Similar to Snapchat, Instagram Direct lets you send disappearing photos and videos to other users, and includes a screenshot notification whenever the recipient captures the content you sent privately. In tests on iOS 11, neither photos nor videos captured via screen recording in Instagram Direct told the sender that such an action had taken place. If screen recording becomes a bigger issue for these private messaging apps, and others like them, it's likely that developers will begin to implement more direct warning systems for users to look out for.Take a look at our to learn more about the new feature, and then check out our for all of the major - and minor - additions that were introduced in the new software update. Thanks, Joshua!
